SOLID ROCK OR SINKING SAND

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. Philippians 4:1
How much do you love the people of God? Paul had a deep seeded love for the church at Philippi, which was in Macedonia
Paul is writing from prison after receiving a gift from them. The entire book of Philippians was written as a book of Rejoicing in the Lord.
As you read, it is plain to see that not all things were good, but how all things work together for the good of those in Christ Jesus.
I was sharing with my class today. In 2010, when I had to have neck surgery and had a difficult time recovering; that wasn’t good. Although, the good God brought forth out of that year off work, was the publication of “Digging a Well”, and the beginning of the devotional book, “Let Everything That Hath Breathe Praise the Lord.” Therefore, God took a bad situation and made good out of it.
God is the master designer and many times when things seem to be falling apart, they are actually falling into place.
I was thinking about this today. As an hour glass is emptied, it is also being filled at the exact same time.
Have you ever felt this is what life is like? We are emptied and the only way to move on (forward), is to be turned completely upside down. We become full of life, excitement & joy once again, to suddenly feel, it is all drained from us once again.
In order to keep from feeling like the hour glass, we need to be continually in his Word, receiving the filling of the Holy Spirit.
In Philippians 4:4 it says, Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.
Philippians 4:9 says, Those things, which ye both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Was given the greatest Heritage anyone could be given. My grandmother prayed for her family constantly, pouring the Living Water over their lives and asking God to change their lives. Born into a ministers family and determined to keep Passing The Baton down from generation to generation
