The words from the Lord was written so many years ago but how many times would he be saying these words to his children in 2020, ” I would have gathered you under my wings but you would not.”

As I have watched this pandemic play out I have watched so many people straying away.  I feel the Lord might be saying,

“Some were caught up in the rioting & looting topic and became consumed they forgot who I was.”

“Some became filled with great fear that they forgot to remember me.”

“Some have had so much loss they pushed me aside.”

“Some have found this time to expand and have new investments and there was no time to be drawn close.”

The list could go on but the response the same, “I wanted to gather you in but you pushed me away.

As I have watched this play out, my heart breaks.  It breaks my heart to see the great deceiver rob/steal from so many, God’s great salvation and God’s great piece.

Those words continue to ring in my ears, “But They Would Not!
